After a fire destroyed the Rita Grace Apartments in 2015, The Owner looked to H.C. Pody to build a new multi-family apartment at the site.
The new facility reflects current trends in multi-family housing such as high-quality interior finishes and life-style amenities. The new apartment complex is a 4-story, 73-unit townhouse facility that includes studio, 1 and 2 bedroom units.
Building the Future
The new town-homes include state-of-the-art camera security, on-site offices, 24-hour fitness center, and secured bike storage. The $7M project was designed by The Omnia Group Architects and is conveniently located between the Academy Road exit on I-95, and Roosevelt Boulevard.
Adding value
“We understand that our clients expect that we do more that just bid plans and specs”, says Hugh Pody, President. “They expect us to contribute suggestions, innovations and cutting-edge methods that insure quality construction and deliver the best possible housing for their residents. We frequently provide early input at the design stage, so that the final product is both beautiful and cost-effective.”
Because Pody has built a variety of multi-family facilities they know where to look for cost savings…equally as important they know where you cannot cut costs. “For long-term quality, we focus on the MEP systems as well as construction related to sound transmission” says Project Manager, Mike Messick. “Our clients are looking for good quality and for a building that they can be proud of for many years.”
H.C. Pody Company is a leader in providing value-added construction services to our clients by creating a successful partnership with them throughout the construction process.
